Station 300 Double Pulled On Back To Back Incidents

Station 300 was dispatched for and Ambulance to assist Talbot County Station 80 on a Serious Motor Vehicle Collision on Shore Highway and Hillsboro Road to mark the beginning of Memorial Day Weekend. Units arrived on scene and confirmed a pickup underneath a tractor trailer. Once a size up was made, Engine 405 then request Res300cue (4/Lt. Griffin) for staffing and equipment. Units operated for 1.5 hours extricating and cleaning up Shore Highway. The patient was medivaced priority 2 to Shock Trauma in Baltimore via MSP.

Meanwhile within minutes of the MVC being dispatched Station 300 were dispatched 2nd due for a Dwelling Fire in the 25000 block of Sandy Point RD. The station responded with Engine 304 (3/Capt. Sefton), Tanker 306 (Fearins), and Tower 310 however the Tower was cancelled for the Rescue on the MVC. Crews from E604 invesigated a possible electrical hazard in the residence, and where placed in service.
