DVFC Runs Early Morning MVC With Entrapment - 24000 block of Meeting House Road Denton

This morning approximately 0900 DVFC and CCDES were dispatched for a MVC in the 24000 block of Meeting House Road. Initial reports advised a dump truck ran into the building. A391 and PM13 arrived and confirmed a pickup truck that had hit the building, and a subject was trapped. Chief 3 ( Fretterd) arrived at 0907 and established Meeting House Road Command and confirmed entrapment. Rescue 300 (5/Sefton) and was assigned to extrication. E304 (2/Higgs) arrived and deployed a 1 3/4" handline and began to assist Rescue 300's crew. As crews began extrication, command requested Aviation and a second engine. Engine 302 responded driver only and assisted with traffic control, while E401 responded and established the LZ on Meeting House Road. With the hot environment and extended extrication, command requested a second rescue unit, however the patient was extricated at 0940 prior to there arrival. Trooper 6 medivaced the patient priority one to Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Delmarva Power was requested for a broken cable support wire on a pole that was clipped prior to the vehicle coming to a rest near the building. Units cleared at 1022.
