Auto Fire with Threatened Structure

April 23, 2013: Denton volunteers were dispatched at 0825 hrs to assist Talbot County Company 80 (Queen Anne/Hillsboro) on a vehicle fire threatening a structure.  DVFC responded with Engine 302, Tower 310, and Paramedic 391. Company 80 arrived first on the scene to find smoke showing.  Soon after, Engine 302 arrived (Sefton/317) and pulled a 200’ 1-3/4” line and assisted with extinguishing a large pile of brush and an automobile.  Officer 317 took command, and once it was determined that there was no extension to the garage, units still enroute were placed in service, holding Engine/Tanker 80 and Engine 302.
